Post-Import Maintenance Schedule
When a used machine arrives after 30+ days of sea transport, immediate preventative maintenance is vital.
1. The 50-Hour 'First Check' Protocol
| Component | Check Action | Critical Failure Signal |
|---|---|---|
| Hydraulic Seals | Wipe rods & cycle | Oil film or dripping |
| Fuel Filters | Drain water separator | Contaminated cloudy fuel |
| Swing Motor Gear | Check oil level | Metal shavings in oil |
| Engine Radiator | Coolant level & debris | Overheating alarm |
2. Recommended Fluid Replacement
Even if the yard performed a service, we recommend a full engine oil and fuel filter change within the first 50 operating hours to purge any moisture accumulated during sea transport.
